Our ratings are based on eight transparent criteria, with extra weight on seriousness, authenticity and fairness. When we recommend an app, we do so only where it genuinely has its strengths. Providers may compensate us for outbound links; this has no influence on our ratings.
How we test: every app is rated on the same eight criteria, each from 1 to 5. We create an account, use the app in daily life, look at where it steers its users, check prices and subscription terms and walk through the verification and reporting paths. Anything we cannot verify ourselves gets no points.
How we pin down serious intent
Whether an app invites swiping or reading, whether a first contact hangs on something concrete or stays blank, whether profiles are checked, and whether the payment model rewards patience or sells impatience. Those are traceable properties, not moods.
How we are funded: links to providers may earn a commission. It is structured the same way for every app we compare and it changes no score. There are no paid placements and no provider sees a text before publication.
How we correct: models change, especially prices and allowances. We recheck the ratings regularly and keep the status visible on the comparison page. Anything outdated is corrected in the next round rather than quietly carried forward.
What we deliberately do not do: give advice on self-presentation, publish success stories, or work with quotas. Presenting yourself as someone else only postpones the problem. We are interested in the environment in which an honest profile stands a chance at all, and whether an app builds that environment or merely claims it.
